The Cosmic Cafe is a smaller cafe style "chill out" lounge located across from Route 66 on the RCA strip. It caters more to people who want to have a few drinks, use the wireless internet and shoot some pool, while at a place where you can easily watch the RCA show walking by outside. Opens at 7pm, closes at 2am.

Enlighten others!

If you are up for a more mellow night than what many of the surrounding clubs on the RCA strip will offer, you will want to stop in and check out the Cosmic Cafe. The Cosmic Cafe is pretty well known for its blend of DJ's who vary according to what party happens to be their that night. The sounds, crowd, and vibe change almost nightly, so you really have to just drop by and see whether the night you pop in is your flavor or not.

Most of the time, the Cosmic Cafe has a fairly mellow vibe to the place. The DJ's normally are a little bit on the lounge / mellow dance or funky side, and the croud seems to be a blend of hip-hopish / urban city folk. If you from out of town and want to get up with some of the locals, this is a good spot for that. It's a little less main stream university than most of the places on RCA strip, and offers free wireless internet (WIFI) if you arrive early and want to get on a laptop, or just keep your twitter or facebook status up to date! Prop Bar at RCA

Prop Bar is located toward the opposite end of the RCA strip from Rama 9, almost across from Forte. Prop is a locals place, known for live Thai music, delicious food, pool, live football (soccer) and cheap drinks. Open from 7pm - 1am.

Q-Bar

The Q-Bar is a Bangkok Nightlife classic. It seems that in the Sukhumvit area, Q-Bar and the Bed Super Club have been in heavy competition for that number one slot with the international party people since they both came on the scene. International crowd, hip-hop DJ's and some really pretty faces are always a sure thing.

Bed Supper Club

This is a classic in the area. Everyone who has been through the nightlife scene in Bangkok has heard of Bed Super Club. It is an interesting twist on Bangkok nightlife, a white, oval space ship looking building, and on the inside long beds which run along the upper walls. A restaurant by day, a nightclub by night. Gives a new meaning to eating in bed!

Dude Club at RCA

Dude is a smaller club, almost strikes you as a locals club as many of the patrons seem to know the employees. It sits next to the Cosmic Cafe tucked back slightly from the street. Located across from Route 66, Dude Club makes for a nice night out if your wanting something a little more toned down from the masses of Route 66.

Blog 9 Nightclub

A trendy, slightly upscale lounge club located in the heart of Ekamai. Blog 9 has a nice open air environment, with a slick design and artistic furnishings, it almost reminds you of a who's who type of place from the Hollywood scene, just a little more Thai. Its a nicer Thai style hangout, normally hosting local Thai bands and groups who come to enjoy the show.

Club Culture Nightclub

Just celebrating its first year anniversary, Club Culture is known for its selection of DJ's (including John Digweed, David Morales, Marco V, Orbital, Dubfire/Deepdish, Scratch Perverts, Gatecrasher, and Godskitchen) and also being the sponsor of the "Culture One" Bangkok International Dance Festival. One really never knows what they are going to get here, you really just have to show up and see whats in store....

Booze Club

Booze is a hip-hop club, divided into two main areas. An outdoor terrace where food and drinks are served, while the indoor area is one open space with lots of tables and chairs. They have an impressive line-up of international DJ's, and occasionally live music.
