The Players Pool Club is a pool hall located between Sukhumvit Soi 12 and Soi 14. It’s a quick walk down from the Asoke BTS station. The pool hall isn’t exactly out front on Sukhumvit, but you will see the sign pointing to a very short alley way which opens up into the parking lot in the back.

Players Club Pool Hall on Sukhumvit Road

If your game is pool and you’re looking for a place to drink and not wait on a table, this may be a place to check out. It mostly caters to foreigner locals, and has slightly cheaper prices that most of the places which are in the middle of the popular tourist areas. It is a managed pool hall, so all you have to do is shoot and drink. There are plenty of hostess girls who take care of the table, and make sure that you can never see the bottom of your glass.

The Players Club also offers free wireless internet (wifi) to its customers, and its not uncommon to see a laptop opened up during a game. This isn’t really a place where you would want to go to actually get work done, but makes for a great place if you want to shoot pool while waiting for an email to come through, or if you just need to be available online. If you find yourself around the Asoke BTS station in Bangkok and feel like a game of pool while keeping an internet presence this is place is worth a look. Plenty of tables, girls, drinks and a VIP area if that favors your interest.

Bully's Pub in Bangkok

Bully’s Pub and Restaurant is located on Sukhumvit Road, between Soi 2 and Soi 4. An American sports bar with class, great music, drinks and food make it a place worth visiting.

Glow Bar

Glow, The boutique nightclub in Bangkok. A multi-level elegant lounge that transforms itself into a high energy nightclub in the later hours. Multi level, elegant daybeds, spectacular bars, multi colored led and laser lighting all around combined with excellent customer service create a unique party atmosphere.

Black Swan Pub

The Black Swan on Sukhumvit road, located at the foot of the Asoke BTS station. As the menu states, “The great little English pub in Bangkok,” and it truly does live up to that statement in every way.

Gulliver's Tavern, Sukhumvit

Gulliver’s Tavern is located down Sukhumvit Soi 5 on the right side. You really can’t miss this place, as from the outside it looks like a big white mansion, especially compared to every other business that surrounds it. Gulliver’s is about a 10 minute walk from the Nana BTS station.

Twisted Republic Nightclub

One of the newer nightclubs on Soi 11, making it an easy walk from the Nana or Asok BTS stations or any of the other nightlife in that area. Its a nice place, but its one of those places that just for some reason never really caught on. The setting and the music are fine, just a lack of people. With that in mind, if you are going in a group your set.. If your going to find a group, well...

Baroque at RCA

At the edge of RCA, Baroque Bar is considered the place to be on the RCA strip for house and live house music fans. Baroque is trimmed out with a relaxed, plush interior, and attracts a slightly nicer dressed crowd than some of the other clubs on the RCA strip which are more oriented toward the university group.

Bed Supper Club

This is a classic in the area. Everyone who has been through the nightlife scene in Bangkok has heard of Bed Super Club. It is an interesting twist on Bangkok nightlife, a white, oval space ship looking building, and on the inside long beds which run along the upper walls. A restaurant by day, a nightclub by night. Gives a new meaning to eating in bed!
