Send Help to Third World Disasters

Does anyone else out there want to pool our resources, and help in disasters in third world countries??? I was thinking we could send used clothes, shoes, and blankets to places like China, Philippines, Indonesia. Collect them in one place here in the US, and send overseas. We could share the shipping cost.

I would be interested in a program like that. The only thing I wonder is what the shipping cost would be, and if shipping used clothes would cost more than buying new clothes in those areas?
