Nong Buak Hat Park, Chiang Mai

Details

Nong Buak Hat Park is a common place for Thai people to relax on weekends or after work.  There is a small lake in the center, and a couple vendors whom sell the basics.  It is never really crowded, and could be described as a picnic area, or a place to take the children.  Mats are available for rent near the entrance, and can be thrown down on the grass pretty much anywhere you like.

If you are visiting Chiang Mai, the park makes for a great place to relax and meet some locals who are doing the same.  It is easy to get to, and provides a nice escape from the tourist side of the city.
