Siam Discovery Center is located off of the Siam BTS station, next to the Paragon shopping mall. It is open from 10 AM until 9 PM, and offers a slightly less flashy alternative to the Paragon.

Enlighten others!

Siam Discovery Center is very popular with university students, and most of the shops inside cater to them. It is interesting to walk around, and easy to cover pretty much everything in a couple hours. You can enter the mall either from the front, walking in from the street, or if you exit out of the Paragon food court, there is an underground walk way that will lead you there.

The first time you enter Siam Discovery Center, it’s a little overwhelming. It’s as if the entire design of the place was aimed at young high school students. Bright, vibrant colors swirl up the escalators and visions of Willy Wonka come to mind. There are lots of small areas where you can sit in bean bags, and eat dessert like foods that you will never be able to correctly pronounce.
