Family Fun Destinations

Ko Pha Ngan (or Koh Phangan) is an island in the Gulf of Thailand located in the South East of Thailand. It is mostly known for the full moon party at Haad Rin Beach, and also as a major backpacker destination. Ko Pha Ngan also has a couple of sister islands: the larger Ko Samui to the south and the smaller Ko Tao to the north.

A natural paradise island in the Southern Gulf of Thailand, Ko Pha Ngan serves as the perfect get away. There are many quiet deserted beaches such as the beautiful Chalok lam Bay, Ban Khai, Haad Yao,Ban Tai, Haad Son, Haad Salat and the Mae Haed beaches. The area has much to offer in terms of activities, such as snorkeling, diving or trekking. Accommodations are plentiful, at over 250 resorts and growing rapidly. Although the island does have a backpacker reputation, there is something for everyone. The island has many options for your shoe-string traveler, to your luxury seeker who wishes to be massaged next to the private pool.
